Prithwi started music at a very early age. Initial gurus were his parents, who both are classical musicians. He has been learning vocal music under the supervision of Pandit Ajoy Chakraborty and And Sangeetacharya Jayanta Bose. He studied Economics from Fergusson college, Pune; where he came into contacts with South Indian Classical music. Thus started the experimentation of complicated time signature and mathematical use of melody. He learnt from Pandit Raghunandan Panshikar in Pune and attended a number of workshops under a lot of maestros like ustad Zakir Hussain, Parveen Sultana, Pandit Balmurali Krishnan, Prabha Atre, Vidushi Kishori Amonkar, Ustad Shaheed Parvez etc. During his presence in Pune he got involved with F.T.I.I. (Film and Television Institution of India). Where he got his first lessons about "sound on sound" from Radhakrishna (A brilliant sound engineer!). And shifted to Mumbai to learn more about sound immediately after his graduation. He completed his diploma in from DA film school in Mumbai under the supervision of well known sound engineers like Daman Sood, Vijay Benegal, Mujib Dadarkar and K.J. Singh. Meanwhile he was getting another Diploma from Nasha's Workstation on Music Production. After that he joined Octavias studio as a sound designer. then Sound bar, then 32nd street and so on... But the calling was from music. So after a few months he started working as a jingle maker. He worked with a lot of Indian and multi-national companies like Pepsi, Bingo, Mango Slice, Sneackers, Tata indicom, Pepsodent, Acer, Reebok, Microsoft etc. Then he came back to Bangladesh and currently working as a producer.
