Born and raised outside of Bangladesh, but roots go deep into the Bangladeshi culture, sharing a common love with it's people, MUSIC! Starting at an age as early as 3, she's managed to find herself in front of a harmonium when she couldn't even reach the other side of that instrument for being so little. Didn't take long before she's discovered her true love for music and started preparing herself through her mother's guidance in regular practice and restless rewaz sessions at home. As a result of years' classical rewaz and singing western pop songs in karaoke, she's managed to become one of the most versatile female singers in the business, who can nail tough notes with so much authority in both eastern and western styles of singing. Despite the distance, against the odds, she has managed to get herself heard through her first released track called "Basto Shohorey", in an album called Re-evolution, produced by one of the most talented music producers of modern music in Bangladesh, Fuad Al-Muqtadir, the one music producer who had dared to add a strong western flavor in Bangladeshi music to give us something new and there's this one female singer who had dared singing the song to help achieve the result at a time when Bangladeshi music wasn't as influenced by the western pop music, the outcome was a hit song called "Ei" in an album called Variation # 25! There's another hit single in that album called "Nobina" which has become her signature song due to its popularity. And lastly, we all know about the success of "Khub Chena Chena" in Fuad's Bonno album! She goes by various names like "Princess Poonam" "Nobina Poonam" "Khub Chena Chena Poonam" and we (her friends and fans) would like to call her "Versatile Poonam". The purpose of this fanpage is to inspire her to keep up the good work and wish her luck for the long-anticipated solo "Fuad featuring Poonam" which is currently in the process of being mixed and mastered.
