In the fall of 2010, Faiaz and Emon met through a mutual friend at a party. They soon realized that they had similar tastes in music so they started covering songs of artists that influenced them. After a while, the duo began gaining confidence and chemistry, so they attempted making original songs.
It wasn't going as planned but they stayed enthusiastic. They tried to make it work but they just didn't know what was missing. They had flashes of individual brilliance but just couldn't get it going as a team. They were really good at covering songs but making original songs wasn't as easy as they thought. In the winter of 2012, the pair decided to take a year off, due to matters in their personal lives that needed attention.
In the fall of 2013, they gave it another shot and they felt the difference second time around. The time off, played a key factor in what started the band. They noticed that they were more in tune with one another's timing and rhythm. In the time off, they both worked on improving their craft.
Emon worked on adding more individuality to his playing style, which helped him create some catchy chord progressions. Faiaz worked on finding his voice. Instead of sounding like artists that he would cover, he now sounded like himself. He also gained the ability to improvise vocally, which is an important skill needed to make a song. Together, they started to find an unique sound that people have grown to love.
