Bangla Ave. is not a band. It is at it's core, two individuals Ifte Chowdhury & Gautam Saha who believe in the magic of music that comes straight from the heart. Music that is original, introspective and speaks of our life and times. Music that is not limited to any particular genre or style.
People who leave behind their geographic and cultural roots tend to experience a void when they leave thise things behind. In our search for cultural identity as expatriates, we try to latch on to something that defines us something that makes us who we are. When two creative musicians bridge their own gap in a distant land, the virtual street they pave on that bridge is called Bangla Ave.
